EMDR Regional Meetings/Networking Group

October 25, November 8, and November 29, 2007

Time:  7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

To help you further solidify your EMDR skills, we will be offering a no fee Regional Meeting/Networking Group on three evenings this fall.

The meetings begin with introductions followed by a discussion about a specific chapter in Shapiro (2001) EMDR followed by case discussions and discussion on any topic relevant to EMDR. All meetings are held on Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The North Carolina Triangle EMDR Regional Meetings are offered at no charge to clinicians who have begun an EMDR International Association-approved training program in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

The group purpose is to increase clinical skills through reinforcing the EMDR basic protocol, studying current literature, sharing case vignettes and learning from the experience of others.

DATE CHAPTER TOPIC
October 25 4 Phase one: Client history
November 8 5 Phases two and Three: Preparation and Assessment
November 29 6 Phases four to Seven: Desensitization, Installation, Body Scan, and Closure

Participants are requested to bring their favorite tidbits from the assigned chapters to share with others in the group and to bring case material for discussion.
