Exploring Life Scripts in Play Therapy and Sandtray Themes

Exploring Life Scripts in Play Therapy and Sandtray Themes workshop offers an introduction to life script theory and how life script messages present during play therapy and sand tray work. The instructor will review life script theory through a development lense. The instructor will also give an overview of play therapy and sand tray theory. Participants will explore their own life script messages as an anchor for their work. The instructor will review methods and techniques for observing limiting life script messages and how to match play therapy interventions to offer the appropriate permission. Participants will learn how to apply this work to individuals, couples therapy, and family therapy.

• Describe the benefit of integrating life script and play therapy theories
