Continuing Education

Southeast Institute for Group and Family Therapy is a nonprofit educational institute offering continuing education (CEUs) in psychotherapy for mental health professionals. We also offer direct clinical services.

Southeast Institute was established in 1969. Since then, we have earned international respect for offering excellence in training. We also have earned recognition for our continued commitment to developing effective models for individual and social change. Trainees have traveled from nearly every state and more than 20 countries to attend workshops and ongoing training and supervision programs. 

We offer annual workshops in couples therapy, family therapy, play therapy, EMDR, and more. We also offer on-going training and supervision in our monthly training group located in Chapel Hill, NC, and in Louisville, KY. We also offer a week-long Mastering Redecision Therapy workshop.

Postgraduate and Ongoing Training and Supervision Services

Our Postgraduate Training Program is designed for those mental health professionals who want to immerse themselves in a year of personal psychotherapy as well as professional growth.  Postgraduates save 50% on their training and psychotherapy experience at Southeast Institute.
