A Clinician’s Desktop Handbook

In 1999 when I began to actively pursue knowledge in energy psychotherapies, Fred Gallo’s seminal text, Energy Psychology, was just being published. Even with the clear organization of his text, many questions as to the origins of ideas and relation of one aspect of meridian therapies to others were unclear. This handbook evolved from my handouts through the half dozen years of energy healing workshops for psychotherapists. The handbook began by organizing ideas gleaned from many sources prior to there being so many rich resources with which to understand energy healing and energy psychotherapy methods today.

ENERGY HEALING IN PSYCHOTHERAPY
A CLINICIAN’S DESKTOP HANDBOOK
By Gary Peterson, M.D.

Over the years, workshop participants expressed gratitude for having energy psychotherapy information organized in a succinct, compact, understandable way. They asked for replacements for handouts they had misplaced. They suggested I put the handouts together in a way that could become available to others. Through their urging, this handbook evolved.

I hope this handbook will prove to be a helpful resource for those trained in the methods outlined herein. And for those methods that are not part of the practitioner’s repertoire, I hope this handbook will inspire therapists to take additional training in the methods that are a described in this text.
