Couples Therapy Video

With Vann Joines, Ph.D.

This couples Therapy video is designed to offer an overview of how to effectively work with couples. It offers an introduction to basic dynamics in a couple’s relationship and how to help couples understand and use those dynamics to grow as individuals and partners. Therapists are often frustrated when couples continue their conflict despite the therapist’s best attempts to help them do otherwise. What is frequently missing is the couple’s understanding of the developmental process in a couple’s relationship and the need for mutual protection and safety in order to develop intimacy. The couples therapy video offers a rich introduction to working in couples therapy.

Continuing education credit is not offered with this video.
